Sudoku Tips For Beginners
Sudoku is very different from any other board games that you has played before. It doesn’t involve counting a lot or jumping from one point to the other. All that it takes is some logical reasoning to make this work.
When you see the game for the first time, you might underestimate the challenge. You might think that putting numbers in the cells, one at a time, is no big deal but there is more to Sudoku than that.
Beginners should learn the rules of the game. Otherwise it would be embarassing playing with those who are already know the rules, even if some give the newbie the benefit of the doubt. For Sudoku, there is only one rule: you must put a number from 1 to 9 in each cell, but you may only use each number once in each row, column and subgrid. You will find that this rule will take some time to master.
But learning the rules is still just theory. In order to understand the one rule, it would be a good idea to watch how others play. Afterwards, you could play the game with the help of another player to coach you during the game.
The game usually begins with a set of numbers already on the board. The player can’t erase these so it is best to assess the situation thoroughly first since these numbers appear seemingly randomly at the beginning of each game. Before you place a number, you should double-check to ensure that you are not making a mistake.
There are two things that you should remember when playing Sudoku. The first is to practice as often as possible. The game can start in many ways but only end with a single solution. The second is to always stay cool. Panicking will not make the game any easier when you don’t know what to do.
Sudoku is very different than any other game because the real competition is only with yourself. The only way one person can claim to be better than others is to be faster at solving the puzzle than other people.
A good player can finish a Sudoku in less than half an hour while a beginner might take a few days to solve the same puzzle. People who excel in Sudoku didn’t learn everything overnight so everyone must go through the same learning process, maybe a little faster or slower than others, to be one of the best in the game.
